This morning was different. Milton woke up as usual doing the morning rituals and yawnings. He smiled, looked at us both, kicking his legs, waiving his arms. It was a slow morning. I woke up at 6 and I woke up the rest at 7.
At the breakfast table Milton sat as usual in the car seat watching us eat. He always let's us eat in the morning with no trouble. Today he was in some talking mode. We talked and started to say, mamma (mommy) and pappa (daddy) to him sitting in his chair. He just looked at us with a blank face. I continued to say "pappa" slowly while I was breathing out so that he would see my lips move to my exhale. The awesome thing was that he tried to mimic me. After a while he exhaled with a sound, then he pressed his lips together and said "ba-ba" or maybe even "pa-pa". He said it slow, seriously and his tiny lips was really pushed together. It was AWESOME. He did it maybe three time but the last time he said it very clearly. My son acctually mimiced what I said. Of course he has no idea of what he said but who cares :)
Elina clapped her hands and started to laugh. She shouldn't have done that because Milton jumped, got really scared and started to scream his head of. Something tells me Mom scared "pa-pa" away from Miltons lips :)
