Mr Baguette

It's been some busy days for Milton and his ma and pa. We all went to Paris thursday 18th and came home 22nd. Ohh, so many new things for Milton. He did seem really bored from time to time but mostly he hung in there. He ate bread for the first time (of course baguette), he also ate some croissont. We went all over Paris, to places like Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Louvre, La Fayette and lots of smaller churches and historical buildings. Paris might not be the friendliest place for a baby (narrow streets, very narrow sidewalks, bad air, no babychairs in restaurants, few elevators, no baby stroller rails on stairs in musems, streets or subway.. etc) but it has some damn beautiful buildings... and lot's of cops.

Milton also got his first blood drawn. He fell on to the bed and cut his little lip (on the inside). After a 30 second waterfall he was okay. Mom and dad were mostly disappointed in the food. We tried two restaurant a day for five days and one got one home-run, the rest was a big no-no. The sad thing is that the restaurant that impressed us up to 5 star status was a indian resturant. None, could ever compare. This is so strange to because I have never seen so many restaurants, cafés and brasseries in my life. It was like gremlins been showering for a week (see the movie and you'll understand).

Another thing that was a bit odd was that it is the fashion capitol in the world but they all seemed to dress down. I think swedes dress better and french people smoke like there's no tomorrow.. all over.. all ages (kind of) I don't get it. Paris is a perfect beautiful city with trashy people and behavior. It is also extremly expensive. Even the christmas market had store prices. It was really sad. Luckily Milton doesn't have to care about that :)

All and all Milton seemed happy and enjoyed his first long trip abroad, his first flight and he came through like a champion. No fuss at all.
