It's the day before Finland...

Tons of work, packing and doing some pre-travel supply arrends. To bad I have to bring my laptop/work on the trip but atleast I will control my own hours.

Elina went around stores today, buying all kinds of stuff, with godmom and Milton. She found some nice things, I'll give her that. When I came home Milton was knocked out cold.

100 crossed

Sounds like Milton or us crossed 100 persons but of course I meant the 100 blog contribution on Miltons blog. Time flies, don't it ? :)

Yesterday mom had another competition with her two horses. They are still young horses and in training. They aren't allowed to compete at the high levels yet but once they are, they will be able to perform well. I am certain of that.

Milton had, kind of a first time this day. He was acctually awake for long periods of time. Watching the horses jump and run. He followed them with his head showing some form of interest. I know mom's happy for that :)

We did have a first incident this day. Elinas friend, Sofias, horse kicked the side door of its trailer causing a major cut on his hoof. It looked really bad and it looked like a blood bath in the trailer.

As a side note: Milton and I was clothes twins, both wearing blue jeans and a big thick green sweater.

Summer has arrived

How do I know ? Yesterday we had our first barbeque for the year and Milton for his life. He might not been able to enjoy it but atleast he could smell it (I think that is a type of torture in war). We also met the ohh so calm and tiny Wilda again, one week old... veeery cute. I wish I had photos but my dear wife (well, atleast in the future) kidnapped me straight off my bike coming home for work.

-"Jump in, we need to shop groceries"
-"Okay"
-"Oohh by the way, we're also going to moms"
-"Hey, what about the camera"
-"To late"
-"Aargghh.. feeeeling.. the.. rage...turning greeen!!!"

Atleast the whole family was together and enjoyed some summer feelings with tons of sun :)

Weight - 5595 grams / 6780 grams
Hight - 59 cm / 61 cm
Head - 40.2 cm / 42.1 cm

Welcome !

...and her name is Wilda. She's finally here, although her name changed. Up until a few days ago she was Olivia. Yesterday when we visited she was 1,5 days old aka 36 hours aka reeeaally new!! She's the smallest, tiniest little baby I've ever seen. Milton felt and looked like a huge man-blimp next to her. Even when Milton was born 12,5 weeks ago he felt a lot bigger especially the head size. Wilda's head seemed a lot smaller then Miltons, yet her hands and feet felt bigger. I bet it's probably the head size that makes it look like hands and feet differ the other way. She looks awesome :)

Willda at birth - 3030 G / 50 cm / 33 cm (head size)
Milton at birth - 3480 G / 52 cm / 36,5 cm (head size)

Welcome to your family! :o)

4 Wheel Power

The sun was shining and the wind was non-existing. A perfect summer day, yet it is still spring. Can't wait until summer arrives for real. Milton and G-father joined in, in a walk and some Kyosho action. Radio controlled cars are silly fun. Since mom worked at the stables enjoying the newly freshed horse number twos we had to do something. Milton didn't seem to mind :)

Fresh Air

Yesterday we followed mom to the stables again. She had to excercise her two horses and bring in the other horses to the stables. I brought my camera (of course) hoping I could get some good shoots. I really have to take some classes because I can't get over how fun it is to take pictures.

Milton was wide awake when we left for the stables but of course once we got in the car he knocked himself out. He didn't wake up until we came home, after about three hours. Once we came home, we just showered and went to my friend, Marcus, small birthday gathering. It's Miltons first grown-up birthday with children. I did leave my camera at home and my N95 Nokia is busted so no pics from that event but I really dont need picture on everything we do ... even though I would like that :)

Birthday No 1

Another member of our family is born. I got the news that about 03:30 this morning, Olivia was born. It was quick and with no complications. Congratulations to Mom and Dad :)

This makes Milton a cousin for two (on moms side). On dads side he's got four cousins. As of today Miltons cousins are Lova, Olivia, Christopher, William, Anthon and Isabella. Hopefully Milton will have his own sister within a couple of years :)

Walking Chair

Wednesday was a busy day for Milton and my camera. He turned 12 weeks and my camera took tons of pictures (thank G it's digital :)

Milton started to use his walking chair earlier this week (again I missed that... damn that work) but this wednesday we put him in it and gave him some old school wooden/plastic toys that makes sounds. Who needs high-tech stuff when you just discovered your hands :) I also wouldn't call his walking chair a walking chair just yet. He still has about 3 cm left until he touches the floor, then I guess he needs another 2 cm to be able to "walk/push" himself forword or any direction for that matter.

Jungle Gym

Apparently Milton started to use his jungle gym monday (I was at work so I missed it) this week so wednesday we put him in it so that he could continue to play and develope. He still throws his arms at things most of the time. Only when he has things in his hands or on his stomach he uses his hands but atleast he throws his arms in the right direction :)

Talking Session

Milton has started to "talk" a lot more and for longer periods of time. Wednesday I thought I should take photos of Milton and how he looks when he "talks". obviously when I say talk I mean different sounds that he pushes out in different tones. He definitely wants to say something but I guess that wont probably be understood until atleast six more months or so.

He do look both funny and cute talking :)

Moms little helper

When I got home wednesday this week I got served food on the table. You have to love that :) Milton has started to use our "Baby Björn" a lot more lately. In a few weeks he'll probably start jumping into it by himself. The car/baby seat is mostly used for when we want to eat together.

Doesn't he look comfortable ?

Airwalking

This week has been both hectic and eventfull. On wednesday morning before I went to work Elina and I sat in the bed holding Milton about the bed, in a standing position. He then started to walk with his legs, one at a time. Of course he did not have any weight on but I still love the fact that he has got the general idea on how to walk and move forward... 2 me = awesome :)
