Excursion

Today we were on a little excursion to the horses again. The sun was really blazing today. I had to keep my eyes on Milton so that he didn't boil up. It's really relaxing being with horses and nature. It makes you appriciate lifes different pleasures. Milton totally agreed with me until he fell asleep :) Summer is truly here and in about a month... so is vacation time :)

Mothers Day - Part 2

At part 2 on this very special day, we went to Elinas mothers house. Mom and Dad had a small barbeque get-to-gether. All the grandchildren were there playing and seeking attention. Milton was no exception :) Need I say -"the food was great as usual" ? Well it was..

Mothers Day - Part 1

Another mothers day.. Why??.. Do they really do much ?

Of course they do :) and we all love them for it. This is Elinas first time and year as a mother and can acctually include her this special day. If she's smart she'll use all of her heritage countries mothers day to enjoy it to the fullest. Why not celebrate it 3 times ? Let's not forget Miltons first mother day. He wrote her a love letter.

Our first stop this day except from the mall was at my great grandma's flat. She stilll ives alone and this year she turns 95. Gotta respect that :) At my great grandma's flat I also met my own mother. Some flowers, hugs, food and discussions made this visit interesting as usual. Milton was active as usual, always seeking attention :)

Release Party

Being short of time I haven't had the time to publish these past days but I finally managed to steal a few minutes. On the 24th (last saturday) we were invited to Wildas official birth party... note: Not birthdayparty :) Most of the family were there to say Hi and hug mom, dad and baby. Like everytime we visit them, their house is constanly getting better and better :)

This was also the night of Eurovision Song Contest. This year Swedens contribution was Charlotte Perelli (I think her last name is Perelli). She had an Okay Schlager but apparanty this competition is no longer a schlager competition but just music competition. Reeaally bad songs got better scores and the winner was a Okay russian song. I would have hoped our song would end up atleast in the top 10. I don't really know if I want to watch Eurovision anymore. I grew up with schlager in this competition and now it's practically gone. I think I am not alone. Looking at the photos below you can see both Wilda and grand dad falling asleep.

By the way, Milton really looked like an english school boy.. :)

Growth Update

Another day at the "doctor". No shots this time but next time... aaoooouuttcchh... Milton did great last time so I hope he'll do the same next time. According to the expert Miltons chart is looking great (and so does he :)

Fashion junkie

Milton on his first fashion show. Hopefully he wont become a fashion junkie. Mom's a shoe and handbag junkie but then again what women aren't :) I'm a tech junkie so I guess his future is very unsure. Since the music on these things tends to be on the higher side we brought a earmuffler, version military. They seemed to do the trick. He was a happy camper the whole time.

The reason for this event was Miltons godfathers girlfriend had just finished her education at a fashion school and this was their last task. I think she did a pretty good job :)

Regionals

Once again it's a weekend, once again there's a competition but this time it is regional. It's also the first time for Elinas young horse to jump 110. He's still a baby although a big baby. He did all of his rounds flawless. Need I say that Milton was by moms side ? Well he was. On this national holiday in Norway (syttene mai) mom was accompanied by Milton, Grandmom and yours truly :)

Summer is here

So yesterday we got an invite to a barbeque at grams house, Miltons grams :) It's not summer until you had a barbeque outside. Tons of good food and a new look at the youngest in the bunch, Wilda 3 weeks. Doing what babies do she slept most of the time. Milton was active but not like hurricane Lova :) I wonder if Milton will run about like she does. We also got to meet grams neighbours. Great people.

Let's Park

Yesterday, Aunt Anna came by to say Hi and relax. She's been home some weeks now from her Asian Tour but hasn't had a chance to come by much. We took her company car and went to H&M nearby to buy some new and bigger clothes. He's 74 pants and 68 shirt now. He grows really fast. He still has around 68 in length (pants) but his cute little belly needs the 74 or they fit to tight. Mamas milk 2 fatning :P ... Maybe he needs sunglasses too ?? .. Nooo..

Later we went to a park on the southside of Stockholm. It was great with the sun shining, the heat, the undressed people. After a lot of cooold days, I really appriciate days like this :) So we bought some food, talked and tried to shade and cool Milton as much as possible. He seemed to enjoy this little improvised picnic as much as we did. He did how ever ... I guess I could use the word, Hate... Annas car. It's a Toyota Prius Hybrid. All other times and cars Milton goes out like a light but for some reason that was not the case in Annas car. Maybe it was because it's so very quiet or maybe the A/C in the back was to poor. I had to climb back to "save" him from floods of tears with my magic pacifier bottle.

A feast in every way.

I've seen Milton do a lot of stuff during these three and a half months. I hadn´t seen him eating "standing up". I guess if a person is hungry no position is wrong, even if it's not the best way. I kinda like it that he experiments :)

Cash Money

My camera and I have separated this past week. I will most certainly try to mend our relationship during this weekend. Godfather and I will meet up saturday. I am sure I will be able to squeze out a few pictures from that event.

Today the Family will go to the bank and close my old bank accounts and transfer them to my new bank. The main part is already done but Miltons account is still in my old bank. We'll open a savings/stocks account this time. We want to be able to give Milton some Cash Money when he's old enough :)

He met his banker with this attitude. As his dad how can I not love it :)

As a side note. Miltons has begun to eat his hands and is now an official drool baby. We have noticed a few white spot on his gums this past week. It sure looks like his teeth are starting to pop out. That could explain his various temperament this past week.

Suomi Ohoy!

We finally came to Finland (Suomi), during the World Championships in hockey. I saw both Sweden and Finland win their first games. It only took three and a half months for Milton to meet a 1/4 of his heritage.

I also got to meet the aunt on everybodys lips, Aino, and Yes, she is the active one and pretty loud :) I love being on vacation even though this one is a short one. We only stayed for 4 days. We will be going back on the 4th.

Milton and I also got to see his and his cousins future playground, the summer house by the lake. It is small, cosy and very beautiful. I can't wait to come back for a couple of weeks to start painting the mainhouse and take down some trees. I know Milton will love it. Sun, beach and lots of forest. I heard fishes play in the surroundings :)
