Day 2

Still sick. A little less fever, about 39 now but still to high. He still drewls and has a sore throat. He still wont eat much and drinks very little. He had his ups today and played pikaboo but mostly he cries and hugs us.

Our neighbourhood had a power-shortage today around dinner time so we jumped into our car and went to a nearby pizzeria. We were supposed to eat there but Milton couldn´t sit still, cried,hugged us and refused to eat, so we went back home. We came back to our apartment about an hour after the power-shortage and as we parked the power came back. Back home we tried feeding Milton again but he just drank some water and goji berries juice. Since he just cried and wouldn´t eat we put him to bed and he fell a sleep almost right away, about an hour before his bedtime. He drank about 40ml of formula which is nothing to what he usually drinks at bedtime.

As I write this he has woken up shivering several times with a wet chin and pillow after his drewling. I have called medical information but they just say that I should make him drink. Fluid is a lot more important than food. If he´s got the new flue, or pig-flue as it also is called, he just have to ride it out. Unless he stops eating, drinking, becomes idle... becomes a different person. So far he is just more sad, slower and eats less.

I hope Day 3 is a better day.. a good day.. The day Milton gets better.
