A Span Of Four Generations

Today mom and the boys went to mama and baba bozorg again. Some quality time and good persian food. Milton and Denver spread their youth and joy of life. I love to see young and older people interact :) There´s so much they can learn from each other. So far our two little kiddies might not understand too much but they do understand more then we think.

Bathroom Reading

Milton don´t mind sitting on his potty doing his business. One thing he has started to do, which is really cute, is "reading" the paper while he does it. He only reads moms horse papers because they have pictures of cars, trucks, horses, tractors,trailers and such. He loves to look at them :)

"Mulle Meck"

The other day mom took the kids to "Mulle Meck". It´s a playhouse and playarea for kids. The gimick is a big junkyard. A lot of firehoses, cars, swings, all kinds of real, but re-done, grownup kids toys. Denver might not have gotten much out of it but Milton apparently had a blast.

Swedish Horse Games

This past weekend mom entered a horse jumping competition. It took the whole day but it was a great day. The weather was ideal. Sun, heat, wind, nature, horses, hot dogs, 4-wheelers was a perfect combination. The boys were real troopers. Denver was super good. It can´t be fun laying most of the time. Milton on the other hand was all over, good.. but still all over :) Mom was satisfied with the result of the competition even though she didn´t qualify to the finals. The horse she entered did better than it´d done before. Later on Mummi (that´s finnish for grandmother) came by. She´d been at a spa all day so I guess she wanted the smell of horses back onto her :)

Ixus 120 IS

The time has come. I´ve got fed up with my cells really really bad camera. I mean, it really really sucks. No, I just ordered a new small, thin, compact camera. Something we can have close and everywhere. Places you don´t want to take the big super camera (which is still broken :( ). My choice fell on a Canon... again. Hopefully that wont bite my ass (since I´ve had some bad luck with canon). It´ll be delivered in mid-september so I guess I have to live with my sucky cell cam for a little while longer.

Soon we can take photos anywhere and still get good quality. The camera, Canon Ixus 120 IS has 12.1 MP, wide angle, ultra thin and records video in HD format. That should really be sufficient.

Aunt Anna In The House

Last time Milton met Anna it was on his christening. He was about 7 months so he can´t remember much. Anna´s been gone for about a year now but and this time she´s staying in Sweden until jan-feb 2010. I guess she missed home :) Denver and Anna have never met but Anna is Denver´s godmother. Now they have, and she came with gifts. Milton got a superman pyjama with a big cape. Problem was that Milton´s head was to big for the neck. The closest Milton got to be Superman was Super'Headless'Man. Anna did have a backup, Spiderman. That one was waaaay to big but atleast he can grow into it. Denver got a cat-bodysuit and in a way, a Superman pyjama. Denver´s got a small head and can grow into it.

We also got a visit from grandad. He came by for some 1-on-1 and tea before going to his mom and dad. I learned some things about farsi, about different ways to write it. I like it. It looks like artwork.

Down By The Lake & Bath Talk

Today Milton and I was together alone again, so we went down to the lake for a while. Milton threw stones, walked straight into the water, totally drenching his shoes, sang a song, danced, watched some girls put their canoe in the water.... and lots more. He saw boats, ducks, swans, fishermen etc... Great wheather and not much wind... Good times :) Milton really loved the water.

Afterwards, back home, we sat down talking. Milton took care of business and I took the opportunity to chat a bit. I love that he plays along :)

Company Family PicNic

Today the whole family went to a company family get together. I think we were about 22 adults and 10 kids. We ate, drank and relaxed. Our company has a "summer house" outside Stockholm were we have meetings and get togethers. It´s very nice next to the lake. It felt like it was one of summers last days. Lots of wind but also lots of sun.

Milton was veeery shy in the beginning. He slept and sat in his old stroller almost the whole time. He did warm up at the end, playing in the grass. Denver sat in the "Baby Björn" the whole time. He slept some but for the most of the time he was awake. We stayed for about two hours then we left so that mom could go and ride her horses.

All and all, it was a very nice day :)

Simple Words

Milton´s talking.. with single words used after each other. A conversation could sound something like this:

M:-"mamma?" (mom)
P:-"mom´s at the stable"
M:-"häst?" (horse)
P:-"Yes, mom´s riding her horses"
M:-"Hoppa?" (jump)
P:-"Yes, mom´s jumping with the horses"
M:-"Woouuaahh?" (Miltons name for Denver)
P:-"Yes, little brother Denver´s with mom at the stable"

Milton´s really turning into a small person. Soon he´ll be using multiple words all the time. He´s doing it sometimes but not very often. He uses multiple single words more often.

Aunt Sussi Turns 38

Yet another year is upon aunt Sussi. Denver was with mom at the stable so Milton and I went to Sussi. We took the tube, the bus, the bus and yes... the bus, again. I took the wrong bus so I had to do it all over again :) .. (note: I did not smile at the time).

Milton and I walked around in the nearby mall to buy something for Sussi. Milton suggested some alcohol so I bought a bottle of bubblies, white version. Milton got a BMW X5 with a "haaappfff" (that´s Miltons word for trailer)

Over att Sussis place we met Cousin Chris, Anthon and William. Great grandmom, grandmom, grandmoms sister and .. I guess half-cousins Tina, Leon and .. (sorry forgot nr 2). We stayed for over 4 hours before mom came to pick us up.

Milton saw his first guinea pig(s), sang "baby, baby, baby" and had some birthday cake.
