The Survey Is Done

Our final step before accepting the house and saying Yes to the contract. Up until wednesday at 15:00 we can still get out of the contract for any reason if we wish. The long awaited survey is done and the house passed with "flaggan i topp" (the torch at the top). The licensed survey guy told us that the house was in great shape even if it needs "make up". He even used the word "audacious".

-"Huset är i oförskämt bra skick." (The house is in a audaciously good condition)

It´s what any new house owner wishes to hear. He did give us one warning about the shower by the sauna. He suspects damage by damp in that area but he also said that that is a thing the insurance company pays for. All the present owner needs to do is to report it and the insurance company will come by for a check and then they will pay for a new room :) That´s acctually a good thing because then we don´t need to pay for it ourselfs.

While I was checking out the house, Milton, Denver and mom was home sick again. They all have fever around 39 degrees. They all were at home most of the day watching movies and playing in a slow and low intense way.

Measuring for moisture thru a drilled hole. It was between 43-56% thru out the whole house. Normal is 60% and danger zone is about 70%.

Going up on the roof to check for broken tiles, rutten wood leaks and more..

The survey guy only found 4 broken tiles, some moss and one small part of wood that was damaged, but that wooden part was cut bad and that part isn´t needed. He gave the roof a A+ with the exeption of putting on some new tiles.
