First Walpurgis Night

Today we were suppose to meet up with Hugo and his parents, Marcus and Rima, but they cancelled. We went to Vasaparken (it´s a park) to see the fire and performances ont the stage. A few drops of rain fell but that was it. The weather was okay.

First we stopped for some trash-food. Denver and Milton ate some fries but it looked more like they smoked something :)

Sunny Playground

The weather is really turning for the better. The sun is out practically everyday. We go out to the playground every day now and with fewer and fewer garments. Soon all it takes is a t-shirt and shorts.. can´t wait :)

As usual Denver walks by himself to the playground.

Milton doesn´t only love to lay puzzles, he loves to stack stuff too.

When Denver isn´t practising walking he sits in the swing. He loves it.

Hot Hot Day

The sun was hot but the wind was a little chilly. We walked around the neighbourhood, stayed at a playground, ate some buns and an icecream. For lunch daddy had a pizza and the boys had their share. It was a good midmorning :)

Denver´s first pizza. He liked it even if I thought it was low-quality pizza. Next time we´ll go to a good place so Denver can eat some "real pizza".

Walking The Swan

Another day at the playground but today we walked down to the lake to feed the ducks and other birds. I am letting Denver walk more and more by himself. I even let him walk to, in and out of the elevator and later the playground. I hope he starts walk by himself soon.

About the swan. We fed the birds and suddenly a swan came swimming. It walked very slow and heavy but since swan can be a bit unpredictable so I was on alert for some crazy swan action. I had the boys next to me and continued to feed the birds, including the swan. For every bread piece it got he took a few steps closer towards us. I stayed alert, ready to "kick his ass" in case he´d be aggressive. He never did but when he came to close we went back to the playground. Milton and Denver were pretty cool about it. None got afraid even if Milton started to back up when the swan first came out of the water. I mean.. swans are pretty big birds :)

Guest Apperance At The Open Pre-school

Grandmom (my mom) came to the boys open pre-school to spend some time and get to know her grandkids. I´m leaving for Borneo in a few weeks and mom might have to work. With grandmom (mom´s mom) in Finland we might need a new babysitter :) She did a good job. The boys had fun :)

At Grandpa´s

A quick visit at grandfathers place. They just came back from Germany and leaving for Mora tomorrow. We got a few hours so we ate some pie and icecream. The boys got some presents from earlier missed occastions.

Day One Of Denvers Year 2

Lots of kids and even more grownup felt to much for great grandmom so she came by today, day 1 of Denvers 2nd year. She came with grandmom and grandmoms twin sister. It was really a small get to gether. Just some chasing Milton to eating hot dog. Denver slept most of the time.

Denver's First Birthday

Just as we did with Milton´s first birthday we didn´t have a real birthday party. Insted we did the open house version where people can come and go as they please. The only "birthdayish" about this was that there´s cake and presents. One year old babies don´t understand what everything is about, don´t understand presents, singing or the fuzz so it felt right. Milton helped his brother opening his presents since Denver didn´t know how :) The backside of that was that Milton walked around saying -"min" (mine).

Thank you all for coming and for that presents. It was nice to see the kids playing and the grown-ups talking. This time there was three babies and three kids within the close circle of friends. In a about 1 - 1,5 years there will be 6 kids. That will be awesome :) Then adding a few new/old friends and some cousins.. and we´re up to 10-12 kids. That will be a party! :)

Cousins & Pens

Some babysitting and food eating at grandmoms place. Denver drew one of his first drawings. He´s been doing if a few times but not really done much. He was really going for it today.

When grandmom went to the stables I got to babysit the gang. I would say it was a success.
