Finland - Day 8

Today we started with full force finishing the roof. We almost made it all the way. We ran out of lumber. We have to finish tomorrow. Mom was pretty bored today and I myself missed her and the boys. It´s not a perfect vacation working 14-16 hours a day without any time with my family. Well this year will be special and a one timer. Soon Milton and Denver´s cousins will arrive. On monday they will have more things to do and mom gets the company of AC.

Finland - Day 7

One week has come and the summer house is half way to finish. With finish I mean as far as we expected to come this summer. So far the weather has been great. Only a few moments of rain has shown it self, short bursts of water. It is still hot and I am guessing our tan lines will be noticable :) I wish I could give my family a better vacation but next year will be better and the year after we will have 100% vacation because next year we will be done.

Finland - Day 6

Almost one week has gone. Today we finished the roof. All the roof trusses are up and we started to build the connection point between the old and new roof. We also made som detailed changes and secured more parts on the house skeleton/roof.

Finland - Day 5

A new hot day and finally we have got a basic house skeleton. The roof trusses are almost up and secured. The beach is coming along also. Milton and Denver have more areas to play on and the further we get on the house the more areas they can play on since the material on the ground disapears.

My office hands are getting more blisters :)
