Measuring The House

Today we went to the new house to collect some information. Both grandmom and great grandmom joined us. Both wanted to see the house. The owners were thrilled to see Milton and Denver and took out a box of old toys. After about 13-20 minutes the boys loosend up abit and played for themselves. I talked to Erold about the house, the damage, the furnitures etc.. After that we had a coffée break. Denver was crazy for the chocolate bisquite and their home made "vinbärsaft" (current lemonade). I´ve never seen him drink that much. Grandmom and great grandmom left after about an hour but we stayed for almost 2.5 hours. I measured some walls so that we know a little bit more about what fits were :

Milton saw a painting of an old stone bridge and a butterfly. After that he talked the rest of the time in the house about the butterfly taking a dump in the river next to the bridge.

Sippy Cup

Later today we´re off to our new house to measure rooms and talk with the current owner. So with that in mind I wanted to bath Milton and Denver but also because Denver needed to clear out his nose. He still has a lot of snot in his nose.

We had a slow start with an extra hour to sleep. Normally they sleep between 19:30-06:30 but today they slept to 07:30 and I still needed to wake Milton :)

Grandmom Came Over

I went out today, to meet old schoolmates, as planned for about 1.5 months. Since Elina´s in Skåne for a school asignment I am alone with the boys. My mom came to help this time. I am happy since she´s barely met her grandchildren since they were born. This way she gets to spend some time with them. We all spent the day together and once I left at night both Milton and Denver was very comfortable with their grandmother, Margaretha.

Milton had trouble sleeping and came up with different ways to stay awake. This was one of his "tricks". He needed to do nr 2. This way he didn´t have to be in bed. I told him he needed to go to bed and asked him if he wasn´t tired.

His answer was this, fake sleeping on the potty :)

For The Record

Our new car is officially not new anymore :).. or maybe I should say :(

Mom accidently slid into a car at a red light. It doesn´t look like much damage but I took it to the shop the day after (28th) and they said that the other cars towing hook hit the A/C and broke it, so they have to take it out and put a new on in. We also have a really dented license plate. Lucky we´re insured :) To bad we only got to have the car "new" for roughly a month before it became "old".

House Planning

Less than three weeks left until the move. I was doing business at IKEA for work, so when I was done the family came crashing down :) We wanted to see what to buy or get inspired. We have already agreed on re-do the kitchen and bathroom. We also need more furniture. Today we live in a 3 room apartment, 76kvm and the house has 6 rooms over 157kvm. That´s double the size and we don´t have the furniture for it.

Milton and Denver had ants in their butts because they were running around like crazy.

Black Lollipop

Salty liqorice was a hit. Milton got "lördagsgodis" (saturday candy) as he has this past month. This time he got to choose "tablettask" (box of tablets) or "klubba" (lollipop). Milton chose lollipop. Denver´s still sick and low on energy so he didn´t even notice that Milton got a saturday treat.

One thing that I thought about was that Milton didn´t really know how to use the lollipop. He didn´t really suck and swallow, he kind of sucked and drewled/swallow. He got black and sticky all over his face and hands.

Geek Bag

Time for the boys first "geek bag". We get backpacks from time to time to work and now I desided to bring one home. Both Milton and Denver have their own backpacks, small ones. None one of them have a normal size backpack. I think it´s perfect for their future IT-geek career :)

4 The Move

Alone with the boys yet again :) Of course we went out. Can´t stay at home the whole day. We went to a shopping area, called Arninge, to buy things for our coming move and food.

Meeting A Friend

A beautiful day so Milton, Denver and I went to a friend, Pelle, and his family. We put some dogs on the grill and the kids ran around playing on the grass. Not long now everything will be under snow so we're enjoying it as long as possible. It's the first time I've seen Mandels little brother.. He was quiet as a mouse :)
