Looking 4 Supplies

Since it´s winter and we got a new house we constantly need supplies to deal with it or "fill out" the empty areas. Today while mom´s working at the stables we went to the store. Nothing unusual or shocking. Milton and Denver didn´t really care about the things we needed. They just looked at toys.

I guess dad´s a bore :)

Lova Turns 4

.. but Denver can´t come. Milton went with mummi, while mom went after work at the stables. I stayed at home with Denver who´s sick, sicker, sickest :) His chicken pox is getting better but still very visible, his eye infection is also slightly better but he does have a fever during the days, this is his 5th day now.

We don´t dare sending him to a party. He´ll just empty his battery and pass out. Insted I tried to give him a special day at home. We played, I read, he got a lemon cup cake and I gave him a 45 minute bath. Denver loooves his baths and today he actually took it all by himself.. for the first time.

Spots, Hearts & DVD

Still sick with chicken pox left-overs and fever. Only Denver have the fever, Milton has the cough. Remarkably both are very happy, active and eats well. At the moment, it feels like it will never end.

Milton sat doing his business. I still am amazed over the perception kids have. Suddenly Milton says, -"Hjärta där" (Heart there).. I was (uhhh ?? what?).
Milton repeated himself and I started to look for "hjärtan" (hearts). Milton noticed me being lost so he said it again and pointed to the toiletpaper.

Sure as rain on a weddingday. There was hearts on the paper and lot of it. :)

Courious About The Stove

Today I´m Mr Chef and Milton has started to take interest in the making of food. It makes me abit nervous since he´s so close to the stove but I´ve been telling him that he will cry for weeks if he touches the stove while it is hot and so far he´s been listening :)

4 Days In

It looks like the chicken pox is reaching it´s culmination point. Both have obvious spots all over. Although Milton had the first noticable spots he has less than Denver. Luckily so far none of them are cranky, hot, scratchy or in general different. I guess we just have to count the days.

Chicken Pox Bath

I´ve had my first bath with my boys and in our tub. Since they both have chicken pox I´ve desided to call our bath, the chicken pox bath. I hope I´ve had it already as a boy. I just can´t remember. Nobody wrote a blog about my life :)

Denver loooves the bathtub and stayed about 30 minutes extra after Milton and I got up. Milton´s got a lot more rashes then Denver and today at night, when we slept he woke up several times and schratched himself, mostly on his head and his stomach. He was so cute because he felt he needed to explain himself about why he scratched himself :) saying he had chicken pox and that it was itching :) I tried to tell him not to scratch the "rashes" but if he must don´t use your nails and not on your skin. He really tried but he had troubles stopping completely.

Chicken Pox 1-on-1

I´m stuck at work because.. (let´s not get into that).. and Elina send me a text. Milton´s got chicken pox. He did talk about it this morning but I didn´t really think about it because I couldn´t see anything (then again I wasn´t looking :).

Milton talked this morning about itching chicken pox with worms in the blisters and rats eating them. Didn´t really know how to interpret that :)

Mom´s camera ain´t the best but I do see a small tiny red spot :) After I got this text I talked to Elina on the phone. While she was putting on the pyjamas on the boys she noticed about 10 spots on Milton and also spots on Denver. Both boys are now officially sick with chicken pox.

The Delivery Is Made

Mom sent me an MMS of our new "Schäslonger" (lounge-chaise) that came delivered today. Guess who started to jump and climb on them right away ? :)

Local Emergency Ward

Milton´s been coughing a lot for a week. Thursday I picked him up from pre-school early because he womited because he coughed so much. It hasn´t passed yet and he still coughs at night waking up and sometimes cries. This morning I heard a weezing sound while he exhailed so today we went to the doctor at the "närakuten" (local emergency ward). They took som tests. Milton got to breath in a mask with steam and medicin for one minute and give blood from his finger. He was a champion. He didn´t complain and did what I asked him to do.

The result ? Nothing serious. Everything shows it´s just flem cough, plain and simple. He got some medicin for it and off we went.

Denver showed good patience to, all though some boredom tendencies.

As a reward he got to choose lunch. Surprice, he choose pancakes :)

All is over and Milton´s a happy boy.

First Investment

Once mom came home we took off for IKEA. We wanted a cheap bookshelf for the office for all the papers, books, folders etc etc.. IKEA´s open 12hours every single day.. Can you believe it.. On a sunday to :) We walked thru looking at everything, planning the rooms.. we had to stop and just buy what we came for. It was late and the boys needed their dinner. After a quick dinner and a stop in the kids section we came to the bargain-section. It´s the section IKEA sells stuff that has a dent, scratch or a bit dirty. Elina saw two chaise-lounge for half the price. Why ? They were a bit dirty on the bottom sides. Nothing some leather balm can´t fix :) We ended up buying them.. our first investment in furniture, but cerainly not our last :)

Nothing to see and no one to play with.. and where´s the candy ?

I´ve finally set up the computer at the house so that Milton and Denver can watch their train movies. I´ve heard his question every single day:

-"jag vill titta på tåg" (I want to look at trains).

Well, now he can :) As a bonus he got to eat some candy because it´s saturday and saturday is candy day.. and nr 3.. Lova and Wilda came by for a couple of ours so they all got to run the sugar out of their system :)

Mr Snowman

Snow has fallen yet again. Perfect timing for it too, since we put on winter tires just a few days ago :) Mom´s at the stables working today so us boys have the whole day to ourselves :) Since the ground was white when we woke up, there was only one thing to do today.. Go out in the snow and make a snowman.. our first at our new home, the first this year and the first in Milton andn Denver´s life :)

Green & Bubbly

After a messy dinner (or should I say normal dinner :) I took the kids to the bathtub. They´ve only used Mummi´s tub before couple of times but never with me, with our own tub or in the house. Of course I had to take a few pics and add a submission about that.
