Finally Medicin

Still sick.. It's fever Day 6 now. I took Milton to the doctor to check him out. He topped att 39.7 degrees today so I had to do something. The doctor checked him out and gave Milton penicillin for his ear. He's got an infection in his right ear. He probably had/has the flue to but that needs to pass by itself. I am feeling a lot better. I would have worked today but I stayed at home so that Elina could go to her job for a dance-thing at school.

Milton still very weak.

Fresh Air

Both Milton and I are sick. I feel okay but Milton's more under the weather. His fever is down but he is very sleepy and slow. I took him to the store for some scenery change and fresh air.

Sick 2 the Bone

Elina's been sick for a week, I've been sick since tuesday and now Milton's sick. He's been sick with fever since about thursday. I'm on penicillin for my throat-streptococcus and my flue is almost over. Milton however's still in the middle of it. The only one who's not sick is Denver. He is usually the most sensitive one. Ido hope he makes it without getting sick.

BigBoy Puzzle

The other day I bought a bigger puzzle on Milton's wishes. I didn't think he could do the whole puzzle but he did it all by himself. At most I said "snurra" (turn) and "Rätt, vad duktig du är" (Correct, you are so good)

Today I am very sick. Elina has taken over the house and kids because I don't have the strength to do much.

Only a few pieces left.

Washing the Dishes

Both Milton and Denver loves to help out aroung the dishes. Don't matter if it's doing the dishes, loading the washer or empty it. I guess I have to enjoy it as long as I can. In a few years they wont do it if their life depended on it :)

Today I went home from work because I didn´t feel well. Elina's still sick and haven't barely moving since friday.

Mom's Sick

Mom's been sick for the last three days (friday) so I'm taking care of the house and kids. Milton and Denver does seem to be sick but I do feel "strange". Maybe I will catch something.

This morning Milton and Denver ran around with our helmets.. I think they will love riding motorcycle in the future :)

A New Year

Happy New Year! to all persians..

It´s a new year and we went to mama bozorg to celebrate with our families. Sadly enough Milton's godmother didn't show up but we all had fun anyway. Most important is that Milton and Denver's cousins where there, grandparent, Mahin and mama bozorg.

I love to see the cousins play. They hardly sit a second, unless they eat cookies and icecream :)

A Day Together

Milton, Denver and I had a day for ourselves today. We went to different stores to buy things for our home. It was great spring weather yet again.

Bath Time

The Brothers love to take bath. It's just a picture series of how fun they think it is and how they interact. I love to see them play in the water together.. even if it sometimes goes out of hand :)

Spring is here.. well, almost. It´s still pretty freaking cold night time. During the day it´s about 5-10 degrees in the sun and very very nice weather. Lars, Milton, Denver and I took a looong walk around our new neighbourhood.

That Milton talks ain't no news or surprise, but he has started saying other stuff that I haven't taught him, but somewhere he has heard it and stored it in his brain :)

Here are two things he's started to say is:

1. Det var nära ett öga (Should be: Det var nära ögat. But it´s close enough :)
Translation: That was a close call.

2. Jag var hungrig som en varg.
Translation: I was hungry as a wolf.

I guess the translation really doesn't matter since the same expression rarely work in different languegues but still.. you catch my drift :)

MotorTV Addict

Denver, Milton and I watched MotorTV today and after I left Denver stayed.. It seems he liked what he saw. The most time MotorTV showed "Best of MotorTV chrashes" but they also showed Formula 1, Mobil 1 and Motocross.

BMW VS Volvo

Mom's working at the stables so us men had the day to ourselves. We cut our hair, went to the playground and sat in the sauna. For the boys it was their first time in our house (the sauna). It was my 3rd time since it's been shut off due to the renovation of the shower (they're connected thru the same room).

When we went out for a walk to the playground both Milton and Denver brought a car. Denver brought a BMW and Milton brought a Volvo. They didn't let the car go for a second the whole time we were out :)

NoSe Picking Result

Milton's been picking his nose a lot lately. Probably because he's got some nasal congestion. He's mostly been working on his left nostrile and here's the result.

I've been trying to explain "picking" and "blood" but he hasn't really understood it.. Maybe he'll start doing that soon :)

Small side note.. Milton's not crying about the blood.. He cries about wanting a toy that Denver has :)

New Bed

First new bed.. and I mean brand new.. from the store. Milton was on our case for this bed and Denver rolled around on the bottom bed at IKEA so we bought it. I am a bit concerned about the ladder and hight. It is recommended from six year olds. Milton´s not there yet :) but he is very capable. He climbs the bed like a monkey. Problem is, he also likes to throw toys over the edge. Not a pleasant sound :) Denver.. well, Denver can´t climb the ladder and he is the big problem. He will learn how to and when he does, he will most likely fall from time to time.

I might have to put up a climbing shield during the days when we´re not around.

Other than that, both Milton and Denver loves the bed. It was also Denver first night in his own bed without a "fence". I will build a lower part for Denvers madress because, even if it is built for two madresses, it doesn´t look nice to sleep "on the floor".

Peak-a-boo

Bed Hint Took Us 2 IKEA

Yesterday and today Denver climbes into Milton's bed. It´s not the first time either. It has happend several times before this :)

Today we desided to go to IKEA to buy Denver his new bed. Of course our other car didn't start. The car I intended to use as the transport car. Grandfather's in Finland and his trailer's at work so that idea got shot down too. The result ?.. We bought everything else. Bed covers and madresses... as in 2 ? Yes Milton and Denver fell in love with a bunk bed. Milton wanted to climb up to his bed and Denver just wanted roll around on the floor :) Next weekend we'll buy the actual bed. Denver only needs to hang on to his crib for one more week.

Denver eating icecream in a way that's not really optimal :) Might it be because he's all up into the "tractor" outside ? :)

Splish, Splash, Splosh

It was quite some time since we last went to a public bath-house. Last time Denver could barely sit... I really want us to do this a lot more because both Milton and Denver had a blast. They were a little careless but papa-bird and mama-bird kept them safe :) Only one thing is annoying at public bath-houses, the kids. Other kids just run around, throwing balls, jumping, splashing and going to pools they are to big for. I will tell them to shape up if I have to but usually everything is in passing and goes by fast. No need to waste energy on it.
