New Year 2011 !!

It is time.. A year has ended and a new one is here. Only hours until we have another 366 days to spend.

Finland - Day 8

You can use both the word "Sad" but also "Finally". I am so looking forward to New Years and the new year. Finland was great but because of the lack of snow it wasn't a 100% trip. Holding my thumbs for next year :)

Finland - Day 7

Yet another day of skating. Mummi also made dounuts while the kids made necklaces. Aino came by for a visit. All in all a good day with some typical vacation activities.

Finland - Day 6

Time to skate... Since the snow is gone, we went inside.. to skate. All kids did great. Milton and Denver stood on the ice for the first time. First they didn't really stretch their legs and remained standing but later they did. Denver acctually picked it up a bit faster than Milton. Robin och Dimitri learned how to scissor-skate. They also tried to learn how to do a quick-stop but didn't really go all the way.

Later on our finnish neighbours came by for supper.

Finland - Day 5

Our summer house is still there. No snow and storm.. The waves have washed away half our beach :( Still, Dimitri and Robin had never seen our summer house. Now they have and now what to expect this summer.

The stores are open today so we made a run to fill up our stock.. To bad the snow is gone.
