Shopping 4 Work

I had to go and buy some stuff for work so I took my family with me.. ROADTRIP! :) ... I bought a couple of projectors for our classrooms and some stuff at IKEA. The plan was to buy some stuff for ourselves but we didn´t find anything so we just bought food. Both Milton and Denver had barely eaten at pre-school so they got to eat whatever they wanted... It was Hot Dog :)

Race Track On A Sunday

Went to the city with the boys again. It´s so easy and fun to just go to the city. It was practically the same trip. We went straight into the lions den and walked around. Milton wanted pancakes and toys :) Well, I bought the food and some toys for both. Denver got a train (like Milton already has) while Milton got a railway carriage of his own choosing (he picked a Milk carriage). I also bought a small race track for them but trying it out they didn´t understand the purpose or function while Denver didn´t even care trying it. Well spent money :)

Bellmanstafetten 2010

Time to run.. Every year 5 from work runs a mix-team competition called, Bellmanstafetten. It´s Sweden largest realy race and it´s so much fun. We were 4 guys and one woman. We polished our time with about 6 minutes. I myself lowered my time with 2:06 minutes and ended up with 23:55 minutes. Yes, not the best time but good enough for not training more than four 7.2km runs from work to home. Both boys saw this race last year but I doubt they remember a thing :) Denver was only some months old and Milton 1.5 years old. This year cousins, Lova and Wilda, came too watch with mummi and Baba Bozorg.

Secure Pre-School

For two weeks we as parents have been a backup for the pre-school. Being a back means that one of us aren´t working and sits at home doing nothing.. or maybe cleaning or watching TV just incase any of the boys becomes to sad or something. Today is the last of these "security"-days. Next week we all go somewhere in the morning. Elina and I goes to work, while Milton and Denver goes to pre-school. This last day was also their longest day at the pre-school, 07:30 - 15:30. Did everything go alright ? Yep, like a charm :)

All Names

I went to pick up Milton and Denver from pre-school today. I was there about 15:00 and saw a pile of kids playing and laughing at the door. Once I got to the door the kids dispurced and I saw Milton standing on the side and Denver laying on the floor. Don´t really know what that was about or what happened but Denver wasn´t sad or cried. He just stood up. He did turn around, saw me and then he started to cry but that´s normal procedure for him.

Gull, one of the pre-school teachers, told me that Milton is so good and smart. Apparantly around lunch Milton asked about the names of the other group of children in the pre-school (14 kids). Gull had told him who was who and by snack-time he knew all the childrens names :) I can barely remember my own sometime :) Keep it going Milton and take Denver on the same ride.

Aunt Anna Is Back !

She´s back from Australia.. if only for a few weeks, but she´s back :) Milton remembered her, no problem, but I think Denver asked himself...
-"Who the h-ll is that ?" :)

Anna looked good.. tanned, blonde and blue eyed, a real swedish girl. She just came quickly today but she will be back during the week to catch up time and she is more than welcome :)

Guardian Angel

Mom´s home tue-thursday this week to take Milton and Denver to the pre-school. It´s their last week with us as support/backup at home. Next week it´s full days with us at work. Reality will kick in so I hope they will be fine.

Two things that happened today (mom told me and the pre-school teacher told her) was that Denver was sad from time to time after mom left. When Denver was sad and cried Milton went to him, held his hand, kissed and hugged him. This happened several times during the day.

The second thing was just one incident and that was when Denver played with a toy and an older girl came and took it from him (and of course made him sad). Milton walked up to the girl, took the toy from her and gave it back to Denver.

Can I love Milton more hearing this ? He´s Denver´s guardian angel. I truly hope that Milton keep treating Denver well and take care of him, just as a big brother should do.

Today they also had their first nap at the pre-school. They sleep all in the same room on small mattresses. Milton slept next to Denver. Before they fell asleep Milton slowly crawled next to Denver and put his head next to Denver´s head.

Listening to this makes me believe that they will be fine at the pre-school. It also almost makes me cry of happiness hearing these "brother stories".

Shiny New Car

It´s time to check out a new car. Our faithful old servant, Volkswagen Passat 1.8T -00 is starting to feel the symptoms of age. Sometime this year we need to buy a new car. Today we went to an area where they sell cars. Since we will use it to pull horses and we have two small kids we just need a cheap draught horse that has the basic and won´t kill the second hand value cuz of horse hair, crumbs, food stains etc.. A trailer hitch and AC is our only demand.

So, is this RENAULT Megane, but we do have a favorite.. the DACIA Duster.

DACIA Duster, all basic and can pull 1500kg, Diesel, 4x4 and only 0.56l /km fuel consumption. It´s on the market in october but we will try it out next week. First I wasn´t too keen on buying an DACIA since it´s a low-cost brand but since I heard RENAULT owns it (99.4%) and it´s basically a RENAULT without the "Bling" I am more interested.

It´s been a long day that all blows away when we meet the cousins :) As soon as they meet, Lova, Wilda, Denver and Milton, they play and play and play. Mom went to ride her horses but she came by with a pony so that the kids could try it out. Denver didn´t, Wilda almost didn´t do it but both Lova and Milton loved it.

Denver might not have riden but he helped Baba Bozorg for the first time with the grill :) In a few years he might take over :)

New House ?

We still need a bigger place so we went to a house in Sigtuna to check it out. It´s two floors and a basement. 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms and extra space should be enough. There are things that aren´t 100% so we need to think about it.
